A Quick Update

We have been in SE Asia now for just over a month and I am a little ashamed to admit that I’m behind on the blog. Here is a quick update on some of our adventures so far and a sneak peak of things to come.

In the past two weeks, we spent a few days riding a little scooter around the island of Koh Tao in Thailand. We did some diving, ate some Thai food, hit the beaches, and got our first tattoos!

You know I’m kidding about the tattoos, right?

We had a week of adventure caving in Gunung Mulu National Park in Malaysia. The only access to the park is by plane or boat, and our guesthouse had no internet and limited electricity, but the caves were one of a kind and very worth it.

Our friends Jenny and Mike are on team purple/gray while Adam and I chose to support Thailand in blue.
Does this thing have a weight limit?
It turns out Adam was not too big for any of the ropes or squeezes. Phew!
Adam thought no one was looking.
No one can see us except the bats, right?

Now, we are hanging out in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with some friends who just happen to also enjoy playing board games and working out. We’re excited to be back in a place with air conditioning and internet. It’s the perfect city break.

Adam is concentrating. Mike appears to be channeling patience.

More to come soon on these adventures and more!

  1. Love seeing the pictures of your friends and the caving. So much fun to follow your adventures–and to have the opportunity to skype yesterday. Enjoy!!!!

  2. Amazing! Badass!

    I’m available to Skype, too.
    Give me the word/time/love!
    Especially on Nov 1.
Can we arrange that somehow please?
